Pioneer Laughlin: Our Quick Review The old-west themed Pioneer has cheap (and nice) motel-style accomodations at the center of the Laughlin Strip. In the casino you'll find low-limit table games, plus lots of tournaments and promotions. This is a smaller property with friendly faces. Resort Amenities Pioneer Accomodations: Over 400 rooms and suites in a motel-style setting (exterior corridors and you can park right near the room). Some pet rooms are available. Gaming at the Pioneer: The Pioneer Casino is friendly and casual. It includes many of the latest slot games (over 700 machines), a poker room, Lucky's Sports Book, and a keno lounge. Pioneer Location: The Pioneer Laughlin has a convenient location in the middle of the Laughlin Strip. It is on the Colorado River between the Golden Nugget Laughlin and the Colorado Belle.
