Flamingo Laughlin: Our Quick Review Harrahs recently sold the Flamingo, and it was renamed the Aquarius Casino. But it is still business as usual here. And that means there is something for everyone. You can spend your days relaxing (try the third floor swimming pool & sun deck) and then kick it up a notch in the evening (take in a show or a headline act). There is fine dining, a buffet and 24-hour coffee shop, and even fast food choices like Burger King and Subway. The resort is family-friendly, and the hotel rooms are nice (and a good value). Resort Amenities Flamingo Hotel Accomodations: The Flamingo has over 1900 rooms in two hotel towers (the Arizona California Towers). Guest rooms and suites have views of the Colorado River, mountains, and/or the swimming and recreation deck. Gaming at Flamingo: 60,000 square foot casino with over 1,000 slot and video poker machines, popular tables games, a poker room, race and sports book, and a keno lounge. Swimming and Recreation: The Flamingo's third floor outdoor recreation deck has a swimming pool and tennis courts. The resort is also along the Laughlin River Walk, giving guests convenient access to various river cruises and watercraft rentals. Inside the resort, younger guests will enjoy the video arcade. Entertainment and Nightlife: The Flamingo frequently plays host to big-name headline entertainers in their outdoor ampitheater, the Flamingo Ballroom, and the Club Flamingo Showroom. There are also several bars and lounges throughout the facility. Meetings: The Flamingo has the largest meeting space among Laughlin casinos with catering and a business center.
