Colorado Belle: Our Quick Review The Colorado Belle, which is owned by MGM-Mirage, takes guests back in time to the days of Mississippi paddlewheel riverboats with its attractive decor, festive atmosphere, and strolling dixieland bands (appearing on weekends). One of the real highlights of the Belle is its great assortment of restaurants. It has Laughlin's only brew pub (the Boiler Room), an award winning barbeque joint (Mark Twain's), and a seafood bar (the Mississippi Lounge), as well as affordable fine dining, and a good all-you-can-eat buffet. Low-rollers can enjoy $1 blackjack, and everyone will love the Belle's excellent center-strip location. Resort Amenities Colorado Belle Accomodations: The Belle has over 1,100 guest rooms and nearly 50 suites on the boat and its two hotel towers. There is also an outdoor swimming pool and fitness room. Gambling at Colorado Belle: 65,000 square feet with over 1,200 slot machines, 500 video poker machines, popular tables games including $1 Blackjack, a poker room, sports book, and a keno lounge. There is also a non-smoking section on the 'D' Deck. Players at the Belle and Edgewater can earn comps and cachback through MGM-Mirage's One Club. Spa & Salon Spa services and equipment includes massages, a sauna, and a full gym with free weights, treadmills, and stepping machines. The salon caters to both men and women. Paddlewheel Restaurant Casual and inexpensive 24-hour cafe with daily specials. American dishes and breakfast at all hours. Menu includes: omelettes ($7), burgers and deli sandwiches ($6-8), prime rib dinner ($12), and other entrees (shrimp, liver and onions, southern fried chicken, spaghetti, Mexican favorites, most at $8-13). Mark Twain's Barbeque restaurant serves chicken, ribs, steaks, and seafood ($12-22). Mississippi Lounge Seafood bar with a French Quarter theme. Serves lobster, seafood appetizers, and specialty cocktails. Orleans Room Casual and affordable fine dining with a seafood bar and tableside cooking. Specialties include Maine lobster, steak, fish and seafood ($10-13 for most entrees). Open for dinner only, closed Monday and Tuesday. Captain's Buffet All you can eat with action cooking stations, Friday night seafood buffet, and weekend brunch.
